Hi, I'm Namita.
Welcome to my blog—where leaders and founders turn setbacks into strategy and rise with purpose.

They don’t teach this in leadership courses.

That sometimes, the most critical negotiation happens not in the boardroom, but in the silence of your living room, when your safety is bargaining against your soul.

When I asked for a divorce, it wasn’t clean.
He stayed.
Played the charm card.
Smiled at my parents.
Made tea, cracked jokes, offered fake warmth while I froze inside.

Ten days.

When the mask slipped and manipulation failed, he made me an offer:
Don’t take me to court for domestic violence.
Pay me, and I’ll go quietly.

It was blackmail dressed as diplomacy.

And I paid—not because I was weak, but because I was done.
Because peace was more sacred than proving a point.

That day, I signed a different kind of contract:
One where my safety was non-negotiable.
One where self-betrayal no longer counted as love.

He blamed me for his green card—as if his own inferiority was a debt I owed and had to soothe.

And I did.
Back then, I believed it was compassion.
Now, I see it was codependency in couture.

Leaders, this is where we get it twisted:

You think being generous means absorbing other people’s storms.
You think being empathetic means always being available.
You think being strong means staying silent in the face of harm.

But let me tell you—

Empathy without boundaries becomes self-erasure.
Compromise without clarity becomes self-betrayal.
And leadership without self-trust? Becomes survival.

What ended wasn’t just a relationship.
It was a dynasty of outdated beliefs.

Of tolerating too much.
Explaining too often.
And dimming too long.

I didn’t just rise—I burned.

Ashes first.
Then power.
Then flight.

Because that’s what a Phoenix does.

And the new version of me?
She doesn’t trade her wings for someone else’s comfort.
She builds, leads, and burns bright—without apology.
